Chief Minister today chaired a high-level review meeting on CAPEX expenditure, taking a detailed assessment of the progress of ongoing development works across the state. The meeting focused on accelerating execution, strengthening monitoring mechanisms, and ensuring timely utilisation of sanctioned funds.

Reviewing sector-wise performance, the Chief Minister expressed concern over delays in certain key projects and urged departments to expedite implementation. He stressed that timely completion of works is essential so that citizens can witness tangible improvements on the ground.

The Chief Minister directed all departments and executing agencies to ensure regular monitoring, resolve bottlenecks promptly, and maintain better coordination to avoid administrative or technical delays. He reiterated that effective and transparent utilisation of CAPEX funds is critical for sustaining momentum in infrastructure development.
Highlighting the importance of accountability, the Chief Minister instructed departments to submit periodic progress reports and uphold strict quality standards in all ongoing works. He stated that CAPEX projects form the backbone of developmental planning and must be completed within stipulated timelines.

Senior officers presented detailed updates on expenditure status, ongoing works, and challenges faced during execution. The Chief Minister assured that continuous monitoring will be maintained in the coming months to ensure that the development agenda progresses at the desired pace.
The government, he emphasised, remains committed to delivering fast-paced, people-centric development and ensuring that public welfare projects reach completion without delay.
