BSF, CISF candidates protest outside BJP Office Jammu

BSF and CISF candidates today protested outside the BJP office raising their demands of getting employed while were stopped by the Jammu Kashmir Police. According to the protestors, they are “all fit” candidates who have cleared the medical exams and still did not get posted.

“We had applied for BSF and CISF exams and cleared all the exams including the medical test still our name is not in the lost. What sort of justice is this? The Government ensured us 2000 vacancies for the post but has only 1256 posts. Where will we go even after securing 80-85 marks?” said a protestor

“Yesterday we protested outside the Press Club and had a 4 member meeting with DIG Sir in Paloura. He told that the Government still hasn’t given any order for 2000 vacancies. The Administration conducted the exams, we cleared all of them. Then they introduced some cut off list to shunt out the candidates. It’s the first time such thing has happened in Jammu. On one side Ravinder Raina Sir tells us to relax and on the other side we are stressed!” added another

The protestors raised slogans against BJP and shouted for justice. They showed their worries about getting overaged and even threatened about becoming terrorists.

“Candidates with 33 marks have their names in the list while we are struggling here even after clearing the exams. This step of Government will lead the youth towards drugs. Many of us are getting overaged and will not be able to apply for the next recruitment. We’ve wasted our time and did not learn any other work. We’ll become terrorists and turn against India’s Government – BJP. We’ll fight for our right.” said the protestors

They appealed the Lieutenant Governor to focus on this matter and let them join their respective posts.
