Brother of Seven Sisters Murdered in Jammu

Yesterday a J&K Bank ATM security guard named Rajkumar was murdered in Nanak Nagar on duty and today morning the family of the security guard blocked the road as a mark of protest to demand justice for their loved one.

2 murder accused arrested

Jammu Police solved the murder case within 15 hours of the incident and arrested the accused responsible for Raju’s murder. The two accused arrested committed this heinous crime with the intention of looting the atm. Both the accused arrested are residents of Bandipora, Kashmir. The CCTV cameras played a crucial role in solving this murder mystery.

During the investigation it was found out that both the accused lived on rent in the nearby area of Nanak Nagar. Police during investigation also found out that murder was committed on Thursday Night when guard Raju Sharma was on duty. The accused murdered him and left the body in the security guard room itself. The two accused are Mohammed Kaif Lone son of Sartaj Ahmed Lone and Vikas Bashir Lone son of Bashir Ahmed Lone residents of Bandipora.

Events before the arrest of accused

While talking to the media his cousin’s brother said “my brother used to work as a store helper in the morning and at night he used to work as a security guard in the ATM. He was a single brother of 7 sisters and was the father of two small kids. He sacrificed his life but didn’t let the thieves steal money from the ATM. We are suspecting that the J&K Police is also involved in this murder as they are not providing us any assistance”.

A resident said, ” in the last year’s we have never seen him misbehaving with anyone. His parents are such nice people that we all residents of this area love them”. He further added “the robbery was pre-planned as the CCTV camera was covered with chewing gum. We are warning the government that until any of his family members gets a job and compensation for his death, we will not end our protest.

His brother-in-law said ” we demand that J&K Bank Chairman, DC Jammu, Divisional Commissioner, and IG Jammu give us a written assurance of a job, we are not going to take the dead body for the funeral, and we will continue our protest. He was working in the ATM for the last 3 years. In the CCTV footage, it was found that the thrives first tired him, broke his teeth, and then killed him”.

The condition of their home is not good as they were below the poverty line. Both of his parents are on the bed as they can’t walk and to look after them, their son was working day and night. The person was the only earning member of the family. After seeing the condition of. His family members and home, tears roll down from everyone’s eyes.
