Bovine smuggling bids foiled in Kathua, 02 smugglers arrested

Kathua police last night foiled another bovine smuggling. The police have rescued 3 bovines and have arrested 2 smugglers. The vehicle was coming from Punjab and when it reached Lakhanpur toll plaza the police searched the vehicle to their surprise they found that from outside the truck was empty but a deep cavity was made by increasing the toolbox of the truck in which the smugglers have hidden these bovines.

Every day about 2500 trucks enter Jammu from Punjab and it is nearly impossible to check every truck but the JK Police is working tirelessly to stop the bovine smuggling in J&K. So we salute the JK Police for their work.
