As a humanitarian step to provide free health care services at the door steps of the rural community in Jammu, Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPC) today inaugurated its Mobile Medical Unit in Jammu. It was inagurated by J&K’s Chief Secretary, BVR Subrahmanyam.
The service was launched by BPC under Corporate Social Responsibility.
A large number of community member from administrative and medical department also joined the inauguration function.
Div Com Jammu, Sanjeev Verma also attended the event.
Rajesh Sharma, Territory Manager BPC, J&K said that Mobile Medical Van is a CSR initiative to provide free medical facilities and medicine to the under privileged people living in rural India who cannot otherwise afford it, by reaching out to them in their areas.
The mobile medical unit is equipped with facilities of basic medical tests for the patients.
