The iconic Mela Yatra in Bhalessa commenced today with a spectacular display of colors and fire performances.
The festivities began in Bheja village and will continue throughout the night, showcasing ancient traditions and rituals.
Thousands of people from surrounding villages gathered to participate in this grand celebration.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Doda, Anil Thakur, graced the occasion and praised the ancient fair’s cultural significance. He assured that the administration would take comprehensive measures to support the mela’s organization in the coming days.
10-Day Celebration:
The mela will span across 10 days, traversing various villages and featuring unique customs and traditions. This vibrant celebration is a testament to the region’s rich cultural heritage.
