As part of Armed Forces Civil outreach programme by “Tiger Division”, an initiative has been taken to identify students residing in border villages closer to Jammu, Defence spokesman said.
He said that for the students, who do not have access to online classes owing to infrastructural shortage, tuition classes were organised for the students up to Class-V.
The classes were held strictly in adherence to the COVID guidelines and students were distributed with face masks and sanitizer, he added.
The spokesperson said that the event was also utilised by the Army to create awareness on government initiatives. Encouraging response was received from the village administration, students and parents.
