Army jawans rescue mother and child in knee-deep snow

Snow has always been an obstacle in Kashmir winters for a normal person. Even with enough transport facilities by the Government, all sort of transportations fail during heavy snowfall.
Indian Army rescued a new mother and her child who were stuck in Hospital due to heavy snowfall outside. They got a distress call from Farooq Kasana, a resident of Lolab and reached the Hospital within no time.

Farooq’s relative said “It was snowing heavily outside. Farooq stayed in the Hospital overnight. We couldn’t arrange a vehicle to get everyone home. The Indian Army helped us and made all our family members reach home safely. We salute and thank them.”
The Indian Army once again proved to be a blessing to all the countrymen and made us feel proud.
