An Old-Aged Father Who Wishes To Die

JK Media executive today met an old man named Badrinath who was abandoned by his family. In his family, he is having 6 children including 4 boys and 2 girls. Earlier he was living in a park near GMC Bakshi Nagar but now he is living in a small room behind GMC. He was a driver by profession. Now few girls living in the GMC girls hostel look after him.

While talking he said, “I have spent my whole life looking after my children but in my old age they threw me out of my house. Also, they have taken all my savings of about 5.5 lakhs”.” I was admitted to GMC hospital after I suffered a chest disease. Then I was admitted to Super Speciality hospital but still, my disease didn’t get cured. I wish that instead of living like this death should take me as it is very difficult for me to survive in such conditions”.

The old man also praised the girls. He said, “a few girls provide me with food, tea, and money. They have informed me that someone will come who will raise my sufferings”.

“Now I want to be shifted to an Old age home at Amphalla”, the old man said.
