Sushil Kumar Sudan, General Secretary (Org) of Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP), J&K and Ladakh unit, today visited several areas of Tehsil Sunderbani and took stock of problems faced by people and losses suffered due to heavy rains. Sudan during his visit, took stock of damages and loss of livestock happened to people by flash floods in different villages of Tehsil.

The residents and inhabitants of villages of Sunderbani apprised him about the losses and damages they suffered due to heavy rains and flasf floods. They told him that their standing crops were totally lost due to rains besides losing livestock worth lakhs. He was also appraised that at several places Kacha Houses were damaged and cow/cattle sheds were also damaged. The farmers of the areas apprised him that their yearly crop production was destroyed due the heavy downpour and flash floods.

The villagers appraised Sudan that they have been facing shortage of drinking water since the pipelines were damaged besides the link roads connecting the villages with the main town are also damaged and need immediate renovation. After listening to their problems and losses, Sushil Sudan assured the residents at different villages that their concerns and problems will be taken up to the concerned authorities for immediate redressal. “I will take all the mentioned issues with the authorities and hopefully these will be addressed,” he assured residents.
