What is Yellow Fungus?
According to the Times of India’s report, Yellow fungus is more damaging than the other two fungal infections as it can affect the body’s internal organs. It starts internally, causes pus leakage, slow healing of wounds, and in severe cases, it can lead to organ failure and acute necrosis.

Fungal infections occur due to unsanitary conditions that include poor hygiene, contaminated resources, or going overboard with steroids and antibacterial medicines.

Who is at risk?
Patients with comorbidities or using immunity-suppressing medications are at risk.

Symptoms of Yellow fungus:
● Lethargy
● Weight loss
● Low appetite, or no appetite at all.
● Leakage of pus from the wound.
● Slow down the healing process of wounds
● Sunken eyes and organ failure leading to acute necrosis

Treatment of Yellow Fungus:
Yellow fungus is treatable. Amphotericin B injection, a broad spectrum antifungal medicine, is the only available yellow fungus treatment.

‘Injustice with us again’: Kashmiri Hindu Pandit Samaj on no invitation in the meeting

All Party Meeting that is getting conducted today has made some political parties happy with the invitation while on the other side has caused resentment among other people.

Kashmiri Pandit Hindu Samaj while talking to JK Media said that their representative in the meeting was a must. According to them, Government has hardly done anything for the Kashmiri Pandits community and now ignoring them during the meeting is another injustice.

“Modi Ji’s Government has made us see this day when our emotions are hurt and we see the same strategy that’s going on since last 32 years. It was an opportunity for Nationalist Forces to raise voices for their community.” said a Kashmiri Pandit

“I don’t think it’s a good decision to arrange a meeting for J&K’s reorganisation without taking opinions from Kashmiri Pandits who are a major part of the UT.” another added

Kashmiri Pandits further added that nothing after abolition of article 370 has changed. They said that Kashmir parties that forced them to leave their Motherland cannot represent them in Delhi.

“No one can feel or express the pain of Kashmiri Pandits who were exiled from their hometown and are still longing to return back. At least one representative of 5 lakh Pandits should’ve been invited.” they said

Q. Sir, what do you think would be the topics about J&K in the meeting?

On 5th August, 2019 a very big change happened for Jammu and Kashmir after 72 years. The meeting will surely involve discussions on post abolition of article 370, how J&K can achieve heights of progress and how people can participate in that through elections and delimitations especially the deprived people in J&K like POK people, Western Pakistani refugees, Kashmiri displaced, Gujjars, Bakarwals and Pahadis .

We’ll also talk about the agendas of specific political parties since 72 years which are against the will of J&K public. If they keep extending these topics, they’ll get nothing in return.

Q. Mehbooba Mufti told to talk to Pakistan even when few days back a 25 year old was killed by terrorists. Why this sympathy for terrorism?

This is Jammu’s misfortune that this agenda kept on going for years in the region and did nothing for the public of Jammu as well as Kashmir except handing over guns to the youth. The youngsters now want to work, they want good education and employment but still some parties with the same agenda are destroying everything.

Q. Very few leaders from Jammu have been called for the meeting and some like Choudhary Lal Singh have shown resentment about that. Do you think Jammu’s voice will be raised?

Jammu has a population of around 1.3 crore and every person thinks he’s better than the other. But everyone cannot be called for the meeting. BJP has always raised it’s voice for Jammu region and Nationalist Forces and it will continue doing that. All of us have seen a demo on 5th August. See people attending the meeting will be the ones who will represent National thinking and others will come with same old agendas. So, the meeting will have good and mature discussions.

Q. Lot of talks about Jammu becoming a separate state. Your views on that?

At this moment I feel we need to think how post 5th August we have to do the consolidation, make popular Government, walk towards delimitation and end the imbalance prevailing right now. Rest, everyone has different opinions and different agendas. These things keep going and are discussed in democracy.
