Accident in Greater Kailash leads to death of an old man

An accident took place at Greater Kailash chowk today morning where a scooty collided with a truck. The scooty driver who was a retired Army officer was referred to GMC but succumbed to death. The truck driver ran away from the spot. However, according to reports, the Police has arrested him.

The demised had a function at home. Had the truck not crashed the scooty, he would be alive.

The road accidents have increased in Jammu over time. People are advised to follow traffic rules and drive safely. Administration should look upon the roads with pits and repair them. Also, drinking and driving should be avoided as it is dangerous.
