Poonch, October 28, 2025:
Continuing its sustained efforts to bring absconders and offenders to justice, Police Station Gursai has arrested an absconder who had been evading arrest in connection with a case registered under sections 452/354/109 IPC.
The arrested individual has been identified as Imran Khan, son of Mohd Sadiq, resident of Sanjote. The accused had been absconding to avoid legal proceedings for a considerable period of time.
Acting on specific information, a dedicated police team from Police Station Gursai apprehended the accused and produced him before the Hon’ble Court of Sub Judge, Special Mobile Magistrate, Rajouri for further legal proceedings.
District Police Poonch reaffirms its resolve to ensure that no offender evades the process of law and that all such individuals are brought to justice through sustained efforts and effective policing.
