Jammu , Feb 18 : Jammu and Kashmir have reached their first-ever Ranji Trophy final, marking a historic milestone in the region’s cricket. The team chased down a modest target of 126 runs to secure victory, while pacer Auqib Nabi starred with a nine-wicket haul, delivering one of the finest bowling performances for J&K.
The win sparked celebrations across the Union Territory, with fans and leaders alike praising the team’s remarkable tournament journey.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah congratulated the team, saying, “On behalf of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, I congratulate the team for this outstanding victory. The day is not far when we will see our players representing the national team.”
