Baramulla, Feb 18: Security forces on Wednesday detected a suspicious object along the Srinagar–Baramulla National Highway near Ring Road Hajiwara Payeen.
Official sources said the area was immediately cordoned off and precautionary measures were put in place to ensure public safety.
A police team, along with the Bomb Disposal Squad, reached the spot to examine the object and assess the situation.
