Srinagar, February 12: A six-year-old boy lost his life and his elder brother was critically injured after wooden logs fell on them in the Shaltang Parimpora area of Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.
According to officials, the two children were playing near stacked wooden logs when the accident occurred. Both were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
Doctors declared Arhaan Imran (6) dead on arrival, while his 10-year-old brother, Huzaif Imran, remains in critical condition. The boys are sons of M. Imran, a resident of Boat Colony, Bemina.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
