New Delhi: A minor was stabbed to death and another young man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident in the Moti Nagar area of west Delhi on Sunday evening, police said.
According to Delhi Police, at around 6.37 pm, Moti Nagar police station received information that a minor, a resident of Amar Park, Inderlok, had been brought to a hospital in a dead condition. Doctors found a stab injury below his right shoulder blade.
Later, at around 7.50 pm, police received another medico-legal case related to a stabbing. The injured was identified as Mohammad Danish, around 25 years old, a resident near a petrol pump in Inderlok. He had sustained a stab injury to his back.
Police said Danish was initially taken to Acharya Bhikshu Hospital but was referred to a higher medical centre due to the seriousness of his condition. He is currently undergoing treatment at the AIIMS Trauma Centre.
Both stabbing incidents took place at a DDA park near DLF Moti Nagar, police said.
Cases are being registered and further investigation is underway to identify and trace the accused.
