Srinagar, Jan 24: The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), along with the Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road, remained closed for traffic on Saturday morning, officials said.
The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police advised people not to travel on these routes until they are fully restored and deemed safe for vehicular movement. Commuters were urged to rely only on official updates regarding road conditions and ignore rumours.
Authorities said the roads would be reopened only after thorough assessment of weather and safety conditions, and advised travellers to check updates through the Traffic Police’s official social media channels and Traffic Control Units.
