Srinagar, Jan 9: The winter vacation at the University of Kashmir will commence from January 10, officials said on Friday.
Registrar of the University, Prof. Naseer Iqbal, told that the winter vacation will remain in force from January 10 to February 22.
It is important to note that vacations at the University of Kashmir usually commence from January 1.
However, sources said the University was planning to hold the convocation before announcing the vacation, but there were some issues at the official level regarding the announcement of the final date.
The delay in the announcement was due to the convocation being scheduled in the last week of December; however, it did not take place because of pending issues.
When asked whether the convocation will be held, Registrar KU Prof. Naseer Iqbal said that the University is yet to take a final decision regarding the Convocation.
