Jammu And Kashmir , Dec 10 : Kashmir Valley continued to reel under a strong cold wave, with several areas recording well below freezing temperatures. Gulmarg remained the coldest among the major stations at -5.5°C, while Zojila Pass plunged to a harsh -18°C. Kupwara, Baramulla, Pulwama, Shopian, and parts of central Kashmir also saw sharp dips, reflecting the deepening chill across the region.
Jammu region saw milder but noticeable winter conditions. Bhaderwah touched 0.8°C, the lowest in the division, while Samba and Rajouri also slipped to colder levels. Jammu city recorded 8.4°C, typical for early December.
In Ladakh, the cold intensified with Leh and Kargil both settling around -5°C, and Nubra Valley at -2.5°C, marking another biting winter morning in the high-altitude desert.
