Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called a meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Cabinet in Jammu tomorrow (December 3), with reservation policy expected to be a key agenda item.

The meeting will take place at 9 AM at the CM’s Jammu residence and will discuss several important issues. Sources said the Cabinet may consider a proposal to increase the Open Merit quota in government jobs and educational institutions from 30% to 40%.

Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary and Ministers Sakina Itoo, Javed Dar, Javid Rana, and Satish Sharma are expected to attend.
Minister Javed Ahmad Dar confirmed the meeting details.

Other topics like electricity supply, reservation matters, and winter preparedness are also likely to be reviewed.
