Srinagar, Nov 26 : In a major breakthrough in the Delhi terror blast investigation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a Faridabad resident who allegedly harboured suicide bomber Umar Un Nabi just days before the devastating 10 November car explosion near the Red Fort that claimed multiple lives and left several injured.
In a statement issued here to media, Soyab of Dhauj, Faridabad (Haryana) is the 7th accused to be arrested in the case.
NIA investigations have revealed that he had also provided logistical support to the terrorist Umar before the 10th November car bombing that killed several persons and injured many others outside the Red Fort in the national capital, it reads.
NIA had earlier arrested six other key aides of the car bomber Umar over the course of its investigation in the
case RC-21/2025/NIA/DLI.
The agency continues to pursue various leads in connection with the suicide bombing, and has been conducting searches across states in coordination with the respective police forces in a bid to identify and track others involved in the gruesome attack, it reads.
Efforts to unravel the entire conspiracy behind the deadly terror attack are continuing, reads the statement.
