Ayodhya: Security has been intensified across Ayodhya and along the India–Nepal border in the wake of the recent blasts in Delhi, as preparations enter the final phase for the November 25 ‘Dhwajarohan’ ceremony, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead at the newly built Ram Temple.
The Prime Minister will hoist a sacred religious flag atop the temple’s 190-foot shikhara, marking a historic moment in the ongoing construction of the grand shrine. The ceremony is expected to be attended by thousands of dignitaries, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and will continue for nearly four hours.
After hoisting the flag, PM Modi will address an audience of more than 7,000 invited guests inside the temple complex.
Given the scale of the event and heightened security concerns after the Delhi blasts, multi-layered security arrangements have been put in place. Agencies are on alert to ensure that no anti-national or terror-related activity disrupts the proceedings. Surveillance has been stepped up around key entry points, major roads leading to Ayodhya, and along the Nepal border.
Authorities say contingency measures, crowd management plans, and rapid-response teams have been deployed to ensure a smooth and secure ceremony for the historic occasion.
