New Delhi, Nov 18: The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday morning launched extensive searches at nearly 25 locations, including several sites in Delhi, as part of its probe into Al Falah University.
According to sources, the raids began around 5 am and focus on university trustees, individuals linked to them, and associated entities.
The university came under the scanner after investigators alleged that Dr. Muzamil and his associates used the institution to plan a Jaish-e-Muhammad-linked terror conspiracy and the recent blast in Delhi.
Sources also said the Ministry of Home Affairs had earlier ordered a detailed financial audit of the university. The searches are still in progress, and further updates are expected.
