Director General of Police J&K, Shri Nalin Prabhat-IPS, visited district Kulgam today to offer heartfelt condolences to the family of policeman Arshid Ahmad Shah, who was recently martyred in an accidental blast at Nowgam, Srinagar.
The DGP met the grieving family members, assured them of full support from the Police Department, and paid rich tributes to Arshid Ahmad Shah for his exemplary courage, dedication, and sacrifice. He reaffirmed that the martyr’s contributions to safeguarding peace and security will always be remembered with the highest respect.
DGP J&K was accompanied by Special DG (coordination) PHQ Shri S.J.M Gillani-IPS, IGP Kashmir Shri V.K Birdi-IPS, DIG SKR Shri Javed Iqbal Mattoo-IPS, SSP Kulgam Shri Anayat Ali Chowdhary-IPS and other senior officers.
