Srinagar, Nov 13: The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Thursday carried out simultaneous raids at 13 locations across the Valley as part of an ongoing investigation into the Srinagar-based Jaish-e-Muhammad network and its suspected links to the recent Delhi car blast near the Red Fort.

According to officials, the searches are being conducted on the basis of intelligence inputs developed by the J&K CID. Multiple CIK teams, assisted by local police and other security agencies, are targeting premises of individuals suspected to have connections with the proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad.

Sources said the raids are part of a broader operation aimed at identifying and dismantling terror modules operating between Kashmir and other parts of the country. The ongoing searches are expected to yield vital evidence related to the logistics and planning behind the Delhi blast.
