Awantipora, October 28, 2025:
In connection with the ongoing celebrations of Police Flag Day Week 2025, Awantipora Police organised a series of programmes across the district. As part of these events, debate competitions were held today at Govt. Degree College Pampore and Govt. Higher Secondary School Dadsara, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students.
The theme of the debate competition was “The Role of Police in Nation Building.” At both venues, participants expressed their views with confidence and enthusiasm. The top three winners at each institution were felicitated with appreciation certificates, while all other participants received participation certificates in recognition of their efforts.
At Govt. Degree College Pampore, SDPO Pampore Shri R.P. Singh, Principal Govt. Degree College Pampore, SHO PS Pampore Inspector Khalid Fayaz other faculty members graced the occasion and shared their valuable thoughts on the topic.
Similarly, at Govt. Higher Secondary School Dadsara, SDPO Awantipora Shri Raja Majid-JKPS along with Principal of the institution,SHO Police Station Awantipora Inspector Ajaz Ahmad, teaching staff, and others police officers attended the event. They encouraged the students to play a constructive role in nation building and appreciated their participation.
Awantipora Police continues to organise such events to strengthen police-public relations and promote youth engagement in community development.
