Srinagar – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, organised a special plantation drive titled “Ek Pedh Maa Ke Naam” at Municipal Park, J53 Headquarters, Jawahar Nagar. The programme was aimed at promoting environmental protection while honouring the invaluable role of mothers in nurturing life.
BJP youth president Arun Parabahat added, “This is a step inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and we are undertaking this drive so that our future generations can breathe clean air and enjoy clear oxygen.”
Party workers, youth volunteers and members of the public actively participated in the plantation drive, which concluded with an appeal to citizens to plant more trees and protect the environment.
