The recent heavy rainfall and flash floods have put an entire settlement in Inharada village, Bhalessa, at risk. Three houses in the settlement have been completely damaged, and the remaining houses have started to slide, leaving many families homeless. The affected families do not have the means to rebuild their homes.

The local residents have appealed to the administration to find a solution to their plight. They have also pointed out that the lack of retaining walls along the road passing through the village has contributed to the disaster.
