Jammu, Sept 2: The University of Jammu has officially released the admit cards for the Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test (JKSET) 2025. The examination is scheduled to be held on 7 September 2025.
However, the release of admit cards has been overshadowed by growing concerns among students regarding the prevailing weather conditions across the Union Territory. Continuous rainfall has triggered landslides and road blockages, particularly in the Chenab Valley, leaving many areas cut off. Students fear that unsafe travel conditions could put their lives at risk while attempting to reach examination centers.
A section of aspirants has urged the authorities to postpone the examination and reschedule it once weather conditions improve. They have appealed to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to intervene and ensure that the safety of candidates is not compromised.
With just a few days left for the exam, students await an official response from the administration regarding their demand.
