India delivered a powerful counter to Pakistan’s latest propaganda at the United Nations Security Council, where Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar attempted to raise Kashmir and launch a misinformation campaign against New Delhi.

India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, delivering the statement on behalf of India, firmly rebuked Pakistan’s “juvenile disinformation campaign.” She stated,
“On one hand, there is India — a mature democracy, a surging economy, a pluralistic and inclusive society. On the other extreme is Pakistan — steeped in fanaticism, terrorism, and a serial borrower from the IMF.”

Ambassador Kamboj emphasized the urgent need for zero tolerance toward terrorism, reminding the global community that peace and security cannot be promoted by those who shelter or sponsor terrorists.

In a stinging indictment, she added,
“It ill behoves a member of the Council to offer homilies while indulging in practices that are unacceptable to the international community.”

The statement has garnered praise for its clarity and assertiveness, once again reaffirming India’s diplomatic resolve to counter false narratives and highlight Pakistan’s track record of terrorism and economic instability.

India has consistently maintained that Kashmir is an internal matter, and Pakistan’s obsession with the region reflects political failure at home.
