Srinagar, July 11: The Jammu and Kashmir Police have issued a public appeal for assistance in identifying an individual involved in a case of ATM theft across multiple locations in Srinagar.
According to official sources, the suspect fraudulently withdrew a total of ₹80,000 from ATMs located at Balgarden, Batmaloo, and Jahangir Chowk.
The unauthorized withdrawals were carried out in a calculated manner, and CCTV footage from the affected ATM sites has captured the suspect’s image.
Authorities are urging the general public to help identify the individual so that appropriate legal action can be taken.
“We request the public to come forward with any information that could assist in the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in this theft,” said a police spokesperson. “All details provided will be kept confidential.”
Anyone with relevant information is advised to contact the nearest police station or reach out through the official police helpline.
