SRINAGAR, Dec 12: The Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka, has opened its multi-specialty OPD (Outpatient Department) services for Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic care in Kashmir valley.

The OPD service has been launched in collaboration with the Kashmir Clinics Group in Srinagar’s Karan Nagar area, a statement from the hospital said.
The OPD services were launched in the presence of Dr (Prof) Sumit Sinha, Principal Director and Unit Head of neurosurgery, and Dr. Deepak Raina, Senior Director and Unit Head of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement from Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dwarka here on Wednesday.
The doctors will be available at Kashmir Clinics Group , Srinagar including Principal Director and Unit Head of neurosurgery, Dr. Prof. Sumit Sinha, and Senior Director and Unit Head of orthopedics and Joint Replacement, Dr. Deepak Raina on the first Wednesday of every month from 11 AM ? 1 PM.
During the OPD launch, Dr Sinha said “With the launch of this OPD service, we are bringing top-quality neurosurgical care to Srinagar, a city where access to advanced medical infrastructure and expertise for high-end procedures like microscopic, endoscopic, and robotic surgeries has been limited”.
He said today, that minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and robotic surgeries are revolutionizing treatment by ensuring better outcomes, quicker recovery, and minimal blood loss.
“Through this OPD launch, we aim to provide advanced medical support to patients in Srinagar and nearby regions, offering safe and effective solutions even for the most complex and delicate conditions”, he said.
