JAMMU, Dec 8: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has extended the tenure of Rakesh Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, for a period of one year beyond December 8, 2024. Singh is a 1993 batch IDAS officer.
“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extensioin in the Central deputation tenure of Rakesh Kumar Singh, IDAS:1993, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs, for a period of one year beyond December 8, 2024 or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” read an order issued by Sakshi Mittal, Director, Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India.
