JAMMU, Nov 30: The Information Technology Department of J&K has been honored with the SKOCH silver award for its in house project “e-unnat” at the 100th edition of the SKOCH summit held at NCIIPD campus, New Delhi today.
Aijaz Qaiser, Additional Secretary IT J&K received the prestigious award on behalf of the department. The award was presented by Sameer Kochhar, Chairman & Dr Gursharan Dhanjal, Vice Chairman, SKOCH Group.
The award was given for pioneering innovative solutions and impactful initiatives and leading by example in the entire country.
“This recognition reflects J&K Government’s unwavering commitment in public service. J&K tops the country in 100% availability of its 1164 online services on the in-house unified portal e-unnat,” the official said.
They said e-UNNAT is a A unified, integrated, accessible, and transparent platform to simplify public service delivery in Jammu & Kashmir.
It was developed by the IT Department of J&K in collaboration with NIC, and was launched in July 2022.
As on date, all 1164 online services available to citizens are integrated with e unnat and available at one platform, the official said.
J&K has topped the country among all States & UTs for having developed & launched 1164 online services as per the NeSDA rankings released in October 2024, the official said.
Citizen-centric features of e-unnat portal Include AI-driven DigiSahayak chatbot, Rapid Assessment System for feedback, and seamless NSSO (Meri Pehchaan) login.
As on date, the portal has processed 78.7 lakh applications with 86.5% user satisfaction.
