JAMMU, Oct 29: The first session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is set to begin on November 4, marking a historic moment for the Union Territory.
The inaugural day will feature the election of the Speaker at 10:30 a.m., followed by an address from the Lieutenant Governor at 11:30 a.m.
On November 5, the Assembly will observe obituary references. The subsequent days, November 6 to 8, are reserved for discussions on the Motion of Thanks to the Lieutenant Governor’s address, with a final reply expected on the concluding day.
