“BJP’s defeat is due on all six constituencies”: Wani

JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani on Saturday (April 27) said that Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP) defeat is due on all six constituencies of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, while voting of two Jammu division constituencies of Udhampur and Jammu seat have been culminated successfully recently.

Talking about the major landslide and land subsidence in Pernote village of Ramban, due to which more than 30 house sunk down in the earth, JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani addressing reporters in a press conference said, “Our Ramban’s district Parnote-Khalwa area has subsided wholly and 30 house there has been razed. The families which were living in those houses have been shifted to the local Panchayat Ghar and how would 30 families will live there. We request local and central govt to allocate funds for the impacted families through disaster management, earlier such incident happened in Sangaldan but govt did nothing for them”.

He added, “I request govt to shift the victim families to somewhere else to a good place as the govt have state land which they had snatched from people. These people should be given money to build homes there as the land has sank. The Gool-Ramban area is very large in which there are three plots. The road there is also non-functional and supply of essentials is halted. The affected families should be immediately shifted and the local govt should provide them rooms, their rehabilitation should be arranged as some tents, blankets, utensils which regime provide is not suffice. A person loses property worth crores in such a mishap and you give some things and move on”.

Wani said, “You can watch my public speeches even when the Parliament elections wasn’t started. I had said that INDIA alliance will win all six seats and when the results will be declared on 4 June you will congratulate us that we have won two seats of Jammu. In Kashmir, the National Conference (NC) will win the seat as Congress is supporting NC in the elections. We will also win Ladakh parliamentary seat. I have full faith because I have examined people are very distressed from smart meters, unemployment and they are also perturbed from the suspended democratic set-up, which has been completely ended. People are very distressed from inside. Yesterday, the proxies of BJP and BJP party have asked to defer Anantnag election and I want to ask them why they want to delay the elections there. They forgot that they held elections during Ramzan and we faced alot of predicaments during campaigns. The people of Kashmir will express anger in such a way that they will not be able to contest elections again”.

“The BJP and its teams are sensing their conquest from a distance, they are forming a new policy and strategy. BJP has cut a Muslim majority area and included it with Kashmir and made Jammu constituency- a Hindu dominated area. They made it 85-90% Hindu population area but they still saw defeated as when people oppose no can save anyone. Their defeat is due in all six constituencies and I will say it with full confidence”, he said further.
