PM: “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”; only voice being heard in J&K

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday (April 12) at Modi ground in Udhampur district of J&K addressing a public gathering of lakhs of people said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir again want to elect Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) in the region and said that “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar” is the only voice that is being heard in every nook and corner of J&K.

Addressing a gigantic public gathering of people at Modi ground in Udhampur, PM Modi said, “I have been coming to Udhampur from decades perhaps my visits to Jammu and Kashmir have been going from past five decades. In 1992, I still remember during Ekta Yatra the grand welcome you gave me and you know our mission was to wave Tiranga at Lal chowk in Kashmir. I have received alot of blessings from mothers, sisters here. In 2014, when I reverted to this ground after paying obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi, I guaranteed you that I will liberate the people of J&K from sufferings they have are facing since generations”.

“I have fulfilled my guarantee which I promised you. This is the first election after decades where Terrorism, Separatism, stone-pelting, Shutdowns, Hartal, cross-firing violations from Pak are not issues of elections”, PM Modi added further.

Amid a chant of Jai Shri Ram from the massive crowd at Modi Ground in Udhampur, he added, “Earlier, there were grave security concerns how to safeguard Amarnath and Vaishno Devi Shrine Yatra, if a day of these pilgrimages go by without any untoward incident then this used to become a big news and the situation has changed today. Progress and faith is increasing today in Jammu and Kashmir that is why in every nook and corner of J&K there is only one voice that is being heard “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar”. This election is not restricted to only choose a candidate but this LoK Sabha election is to choose a strong government and when a govt is strong it will do work on the ground challenging difficulties.

He further said, “Elderly people who are here amid the public might have remembered my decade ago speech when I said people to have trust in me. I told locals here to trust me and I will solved 60 year old predicaments. I guaranteed the honor of women, twice a day meals for destitutes. Millions of Jammu and Kashmir people have accessibility to free ration, free medical insurance of 5 lakh. A decade ago there were score of villages in J&K which don’t have electricity, water, but today electricity is reaching from village to village and more than 75% J&K households have access to tap water. Not only this we are also running a campaign to install mobile towers in remote mountainous areas of J&K to meet the demands of digital connectivity”.

Taking a swipe at the Congress party and earlier central govt before 2014, PM Modi added, “The earlier govts of Congress kept suspended the Kandi-Shahpur dam construction for decades. The farmlands of Jammu farmers were dry and the villages had no electricity and the Ravi water was made to flow towards Pak on which we held right. Modi gave guarantee to farmers and I have completed it and due to this thousands of peasants of Kathua, Samba have benefitted. The electricity which will be produced by Kandi-Shahpur Dam will provide electricity to the households of Jammu and Kashmir. I am giving you a guarantee of “Viksit Bharat and Viksit Jammu and Kashmir”. But Congress, National Conference, Peoples Democratic Party and all other parties want to take J&K to the old days. J&K has suffered so much loss under the govts of these family oriented political parties”.
