Two-time legislator from National Conference and prominent Gujjar leader of Jammu and Kashmir, Haji Mohammed Hussain, joined BJP in a function organized at Party headquarters Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, ahead of coming parliamentary elections along with hundreds of supporters in presence of BJP State General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul, party senior leaders Devender Rana & Kuldeep Dubey and District Jammu President Parmod Kapahi.

Welcoming the former MLC into the party fold, Ashok Koul said that people in large numbers are joining BJP across the Jammu and Kashmir UT. The people have realized that it is the only party which has real concern and pain for every section of society. He said that the Gujjar community had been exploited by the non-BJP governments for vote bank politics and did nothing in practical for their welfare and well-being.

‘With each passing day, the tall leaders of other parties are shifting their loyalties towards BJP and taking pledge to ensure the return of Narendra Modi as PM for the third consecutive term’, Koul said and added that such a change among the leaders of Congress, NC and PDP, has unnerved the bosses of these political parties and the day is not far when only lotus will bloom in entire length and breadth of the Jammu & Kashmir.

Devinder Rana, on this occasion, said that the joining of Haji Mohammed Hussain will further strengthen the party’s standing in the Gujjar community. He said that Gujjars have developed faith in the leadership of PM Narendra Modi as they are convinced by the schemes and programmes of the government. He further said the Gujjars are well aware of the fact that the Modi government has worked at a fast pace for the development of their community in a real sense.

Kuldeep Dubey, who managed the joining programme proceedings said that the increasing number of people and leaders joining the party will enhance the party’s strength and capabilities.

Parmod Kapahi thanked all those present in the programme and hailed the decision of new entrants to join the party.
