In a major anti-drug trafficking operation, the Jammu & Kashmir Police seized 31 illegal injections of Diazepam and Promethazine from two suspects near SOS Masjid Gole Gujral Jammu.
Demonstrating exemplary vigilance, police personnel at a special checkpoint, led by SI Ashish Sharma of ICPP Pounicheck, apprehended Sanjeev Kumar and Mithun Kumar during routine checks. The suspects, residents of Om Nagar Udhayalwala and Nai Basti Satwari respectively, were found to be carrying the contraband. Subsequently, an FIR has been registered under relevant sections. This successful operation reflects the J&K Police’s unwavering commitment to combating drug trafficking in the region. The operation was conducted under the meticulous supervision of SHO Domana Sushil Choudhary, SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor, SP Rular Brijesh Sharma JKPS Jammu, and the overall leadership of worthy SSP Jammu Dr. VINOD KUMAR IPS.
