In a successful operation, a police team from Domana police station, led by Inspector Sushil Choudhary, apprehended absconder Sumeet Singh today. Singh, son of Pritam Singh and resident of Jaswan Paryal village, was wanted in connection with FIR No. 364/2021 registered under Sections 279 and 337 of the Indian Penal Code at Domana police station. He had been evading arrest for a significant period, prompting the Hon’ble Court of Spl. Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu to issue a general warrant under Section 299 of the Cr.PC against him.
Following his apprehension, Singh will be produced before the Hon’ble Court of law for further proceedings.
