      Police nabbed accused for murderous assault on man in Jammu

Jammu: Within few hours the Samba police nabbed the accused who was involved in murderous attack on a man with sharp-edged weapon near 17 miles in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A newspaper hawker namely Devinder Singh resident of Pekhri, Vijaypur was attacked with Sharped-edge weapon near 17 Miles restaurant in Vijaypur, after which police registered attempt to murder case FIR No. 191/2023 u/s 323,341, 34, 307 IPC 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Vijaypur and arrested the accused identified by the wounded person and further probe is underway.
The arrested accused was identified as Hasham Ali alias Billa s/o Mohd Latief R/o Pekhri of Vijaypur district in Samba.
