Jammu Traffic Police Deptt issues advisory for New Year celebration
The Traffic Police Jammu has advised the general public visiting the hotels and other establishments hosting the New Year party to use specific traffic spaces for parking the vehicles and avoid random and roadside parking. The revelers are advised to park their vehicles at nearby/specified parking places only and shall not park anywhere on the roadside as the same causes unnecessary jamming and congestion.
It is informed that strict action shall be taken against drunken driving, overspeeding, stunt biking, reckless driving, dangerous driving. Special focus will be given on stunt biking, motorists are informed not to perform stunt biking which endangers their life as well as other people.
