Youth nabbed for threatening to carry out Pulwama like terrorist attack

J&K: A youth was nabbed by Saharanpur police yesterday allegedly for threatening to carry out Pulwama like terrorist attack.
As per report, the incident came to light when a Deoband madrasa student said on social media platform X that “Bahot Jald Insha Allah Dusra Pulwama Bhi Hoga ( Very Soon there will be another incident like Pulwama)”.

The accused has been identified as Talha Mazhar (21) r/o from Saraikela in Jharkhand’s Jamshedpur.
After the incident, the SP Saharanpur police Sagar Jain of Uttar Pradesh state and Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) taking notice of his statement registered a case and detained him.
During the interrogation, the police didn’t found any links of the accused with any social elements. However, the police have released the accused from their detention by issuing him a notice.
A chargesheet has been registered at the police station while the probe is still on.
On 19 February 2019, a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist suicide bomber identified as Adil Ahmed alias Waqas Commander from Kakapora area of Kashmir’s Pulwama district hit a vehicle carrying over 100kgs of explosives into a bus of Indian army jawans loaded with 40 soldiers in Pulwama killing them on the spot and injured several others.
