                  Man shot dead by goons in Jammu

Jammu: A 20-25-year-old man was shot dead by a group of goons in Ramgarh area of Samba yesterday. No one has been arrested yet, but cops are looking for the culprits.
According to the report, Akshay Kumar s/o Banarsi Das, was shot dead by unidentified goons at Ramgarh chowk in Ghagwal area of Samba. The miscreants were 8-10 in numbers who came in two-three cars and assaulted the victim with sharp-edged weapons and fired dozens of rounds at the man killing him on the spot. The victim took refuge in a nearby house in Ramgarh but the perpetrators followed him and murdered him in cold blood and also took along his hand with them which they had cut with sharp weapons.

A case has been registered at Ramgarh Police station in the jurisdiction of Samba, while a probe is being conducted by PS Ramgarh Incharge Amit Kumar under the supervision of SP Samba Surinder Chaudhary in this murder case.
