Youth died, another hurt as mortar shell exploded in Jammu
A youth namely Pawan Singh (19), son of Kuldeep Singh of village Chandli died and another youth Roshan Singh son of Kaka Singh of village Chandli sustained splinter injuries when a mortar shell they were reportedly fiddling with exploded in the forest area of village Chandli in the jurisdiction of Police Post (PP) Goran under Police Station (PS) Samba yesterday evening.

The injured has been referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for treatment. Samba police have registered a case in this regard under relevant sections of the law.
