J&K based drivers allege stone pelting

Several Jammu and Kashmir based drivers have alleged stone pelting at them when they travel through Punjab state in their trucks.
As per report, the matter came to light when a J&K based truck driver showed in a video how his vehicle was targeted by thieves with big rocks in the night to loot the goods loaded in his truck and him when he was travelling through Ludhiana district of Punjab state.
“The thieves have hurled big rocks on my truck and shattered it’s mirror. It is a threat to life to travel through Ludhiana now. I advise to my fellow drivers to ply through Ludhiana route during the day and avoid going through this route in the night”,
“The burglars are hurling stones to knock down drivers in the truck so that they can rob us”, he added.
