Jammu locals celebrated central govt’s decision of upholding Article- 370 removal

Several locals in Jammu led by Shiv Sena Dogra Front President Ashok Gupta celebrated the govt’s decision of upholding Article- 370 removal on Monday.
Scores of people were seen dancing to the tunes of dhols, distributing sweets, and raising pro-bjp slogans in Rani Park area of Jammu city and celebrating the Supreme court’s move of supporting the reading down of Abrogation of J&K’s special status on 5 August and converting the J&K state into two union territories.

Speaking to the media, Shiv Sena Dogra Front President Ashok Gupta said: “We should distribute sweets, enjoy and celebrate as this is a defeat of Kashmir based leadership. They have been erased and this judgement is the final nail in their coffins”.
“The industries should be established here and tourist spots should be increased and our local people should be given jobs through domicile certificates.
“Those who want restoration of J&K’s special status should sleep in their beds as nothing will happen now. Elections will be held and those who use to advocate Article-370 have been turned down”, he said.
The Supreme Court today supported the Union Government’s decision to abrogate Article 370 of the constitution which provided special status to J&K.
