Police foils cattle smuggling bid in Jammu

Kathua: The Rajbagh police unit which comes under the jurisdiction of Kathua district police station foiled a cattle smuggling bid in the area on Friday.
As per report, a police party of Rajbagh police station led by PS Incharge Rajbagh Tariq Ahmed in Kathua today intercepted a orange laden truck in Rajbagh which was heading towards Jammu and during checking of the said vehicle they recovered bovines hidden behind sacks of oranges in the truck.

The Rajbagh police has freed 12 cattle from the possession of the truck operator and sent them to a cowshed in Keedain Gandyal in Kathua.
The police has booked the truck operators under relevant sections of the law at Rajbagh police station.
