Three held over rape of woman in bus in Jammu

Jammu: A grisly incident has come to fore from Jammu city in which three men allegedly raped a woman in a bus.
According to the report, the incident took place when a bus driver, its conductor and another man made a woman unconscious and took her near the highway in a bus and raped her. The three men also thrashed the woman later and stole Rs 15000 from her. The victim’s baby (1) was also present with his mother at the crime scene.

However, the trio has been arrested in a case filed over gang-raping the woman in the parked bus in Jammu.
The victim woman has said in her complaint to the Jammu bus stand police station that at 10pm in the night yesterday she came to Jammu from her in-laws house and was heading to her husband’s house then at Jammu bus stand she met three men who engaged her in a conversation and later sprinkled something on her face which made her unconscious on the spot and when she opened her eyes and gained senses she found herself raped by the three men.
The woman belonged to some other state and is staying in Jammu with her labourer husband.
The victim woman took picture of the bus when the rapists abandoned her from the place where they left her. The bus plies on Rajouri route. The woman will be produced in the court regarding her case.
A case u/s 376 D (Gang rape), 382 (Snatching) was registered against the three accused man in Police station at Bus stand Jammu.
The identity of the crime scene and the woman’s identity has been kept confidential as per law.
